Scream meets The Truman Show with the Scooby gang at The Evil Dead cabin. Goddard’s smartly written little film is perhaps not the genre second coming that some have hailed it as, with it cleverly recycling rather than innovating most of its ideas, and with it being more black comedy than horror. However, it is very neatly crafted and entertains throughout, often proving hilarious.
