With their sleepy small town’s annual giant vegetable competition fast approaching, Wallace and Gromit find their humane pest-control business threatened by both the emergence of a monstrous were-rabbit and the jealousy of a gun-toting love rival, in this inventive, thoroughly entertaining stop motion feature from Aardman Animations. Filled with beautifully animated sight gags and agreeable voice work, the film falls only slightly short of their more celebrated shorter outings.
