WALL•E, one of a number of robots left behind on Earth 700 hundred years previously to clear up the mountains of rubbish accumulated by its departing human residents, falls in love with EVE, a robot sent back to Earth to search for signs of photosynthesis, and follows her back to her fully-automated, obese-human-serving mother-ship, in this charmingly beautiful Pixar animated film. The voice-work, from Burtt and Knight in particular, is delightful, with the animation, filled with beautiful imagery and exciting action sequences, every bit its equal.
