Bimbo falls head-over-heels in love with the queen of the masquerade ball, Betty Boop, but finds that he must fight (to the splinter) with the lecherous old king in order to win her affections. However, when he is defeated, she chooses the diminutive canine anyway, proposing marriage to him as she rescues him from the dungeons. Jazzy animation, brilliant sight gags, and a couple of wonderful musical numbers combine to quite delightful effect, in this hugely entertaining animated short.
