A woman crosses a mirrored surface in the Moroccan desert to embrace her lover, and the two take flight to the mournful notes of Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 23 in A major in a turning, spinning whirligig of dancing joy, in Preljocaj’s sublime short dance film – based on an extract from his 1994 ballet Le Parc – which was filmed as an advertisement for Air France. However, against all the odds, it easily transcends its commercial origins.
